Certificate in Buddhist Meditation
Duration : 1 year
This foundational program offers an immersive introduction to Buddhism, focusing on calm abiding meditation, Buddhist history, and philosophy, alongside essential language skills in Tibetan or English. The one-year course is structured into two semesters:
- First Semester: Establishes the foundations of Buddhism through modules on meditation, the life of the Buddha, and the philosophical framework of the three vehicles. Language studies begin at the beginner level.
- Second Semester: Builds on these foundations with further meditation practice, exploration of Buddhism’s spread in Tibet, the four philosophical schools, and intermediate language proficiency.

BA Buddhist Mind Training
Duration : 4 years
This comprehensive program delves further into Buddhist philosophy, history, and more advanced meditation practices. Across eight semesters, students progress through a structured curriculum that combines theoretical knowledge with contemplative and analytical meditation.
- Years 1 and 2: Focus on foundational practices and contemplations, including the four thoughts that turn the mind, calm abiding meditation, and an introduction to the eight Tibetan practice lineages.
- Years 3 and 4: Emphasise meditation practices of penetrative analysis, based on progressive mind training (lojong) and study of the philosophical tenets of the eight practice lineages.
